Biography

Liz Hartley brings over 20 years of strategy, operating, and investing experience to the work of helping founders build and scale companies of consequence. A futurist at heart, she partners with visionary founders building at the edges of tomorrow's world, across ecosystems including Future of Work, Healthtech and Wellbeing, Fintech, PropTech, SaaS, Marketplaces, Infrastructure, and Consumer.

Her career spans senior leadership at some of the most consequential technology companies of the past two decades. As Founding Partner of WeWork's Creator Fund, she invested in early-stage companies across future of work, proptech, sustainability, and supply chain. As a startup operator, Liz has scaled three unicorns to exit — at Beats by Dre into Apple, through the largest tech acquisition of 2014, at WeWork, hyperscaling the business to its IPO attempt in 2019 (which it ultimately achieved in 2021), and at Ginkgo Bioworks, a next generation biotech firm that IPO'd in one of the largest SPAC deals of 2021.

Liz is an active advisor and angel investor. As a reformed management consultant, Liz has advised executive leadership and boards at nearly 50 companies as an Associate Partner at Booz & Co's Consumer, Media, and Technology practice.

How We Work

Engaged, honest, and always aligned.

I
Understand before advising

We take time to understand your specific context — your market, team, capital position, and ambitions — before offering any point of view.

II
Direct over diplomatic

Our value is in candor. We share clear perspectives on what we believe, backed by experience — not hedged advice designed to protect ourselves.

III
Long-term by design

The best advisory relationships develop over time. We build trust through consistency, follow-through, and showing up when it matters most.

IV
Network as an asset

Access to the right people at the right moment can be decisive. We open our network selectively and purposefully on your behalf.

Let's explore working together.

Whether you're a startup looking to build better & faster, a founder navigating a critical moment, or a VC looking to collaborate — we'd like to hear from you.
